How these rankings work

Each coach's overall rating is built from weekly, stats-based coaching grades, recalculated through the season, and is the same number shown on every coach profile. It is a read on results and in-game management, not a career-legacy ranking. For the team-by-team picture, see the Big 12 power rankings and the live conference standings.

The 16 Big 12 head coaches ranked by overall rating, and where each of them sits among all 219 FBS head coaches. Refreshed weekly through the 2026 season.
